About Regina Wendler
Regina Wendler is a life long rider and student.  Starting her riding career in the hunter and equitation world, Regina qualified and competed in all the major hunt seat equitation finals from the time she was 14 years old.  This included the ASPCA Maclay Finals, AHSA Medal Finals, and the Rolex Talent Derby, held at the USET Headquarters, Hamilton Farms in New Jersey.

During this time Regina was fortunate to be able to work with some of the great trainers in that world, Frank and Mary Chapot, Maxine Best, Carl Besset, Leo Conroy, and Sandy Lobel.

Due to a major injury Regina made a shift into teaching and the dressage world for her continued growth, and immediately found Centered Riding®.  In 1998, she began hosting Open Centered Riding® Clinics in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  Then in 2002, she decided to become a Centered Riding® Instructor.  As a teacher, the thought of never being limited to a disciple was fascinating and Centered Riding® provided that.   Regina is also USDF Silver Medalist, as well as a USDF “L” graduate.

With a continued appetite for education, Regina has been able to work with a variety of equine professionals to increase her knowledge base.  She has worked with Kathleen Raine, Debbie Reihl Rodriguez, Dolly Hannon, Hilda Gurney, Nell Foxworth, Sue Halaz, Crystal McNutt-Brock, Andy Kurtz, & Dr. Gerd Heuschmann.  She spent a three week intensive working with Klaus & Gabi Schoneich, authors of “Straightening the Crooked Horse.”

These opportunities and numerous others have greatly increased her dedication and passion for creating and finding harmony and empowering both horse and rider.

Now having her own facility in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, The Station, Regina provides continued education for herself and the valley.  She host clinics and workshops on numerous equine areas, Balimo™, Alexander Technique, Ride for you Core™(pilates for all riders), Centered Riding® updates and Open Clinics, Common Ground Clinics, Equine Lameness Prevention Organization shoeing lectures, Veterinary Acupuncture & Chiropractic, as well as many alternative modalities for horse and rider.

Her thirst for knowledge and empowerment of the equine partnerships is forefront in mind and she is open and always looking for harmony and enjoyment. You can learn more about Regina Wendler by visiting www.ReginaWendler.com.
